Mission

The University of Louisville’s Student Support Services program is designed to assist first-generation, low-income, and or students with disabilities toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education, while promoting a supportive institutional climate.

Values

Our values fall right in line with the Student Affairs Core Values of the University of Louisville.  We value the holistic development of students we serve and the communities in which they are a part.

SSS Objectives

Objective 1: PERSISTENCE RATE

75% of all participants served by the SSS project will persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next academic year or graduate.

Objective 2: GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING

80% of all enrolled participants served by the SSS project will meet

the performance level required to stay in good academic standing at the grantee institution.

Objective 3: GRADUATION RATE

55% of new participants served each year will graduate within 6 years.
