Janey Andris holds a PhD. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Louisville, an MS in Early Childhood and Childhood General Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a BA in English Literature from Kenyon College. She joins the ECRC as a Postdoctoral Associate after having been a teacher of 4s and 5s for 13 years and is thrilled for the research opportunities that lie ahead. Her areas of interest are children's play in schools, early literacy, and issues of school-based equity and access. She has two young children at home with whom she loves to hike, swim, read, and cook.
Fun fact: Janey was a classic rock radio dj in college.
