Andrew P. DeFilippis, M.D., M.Sc.
Associate Professor of Medicine

Andrew P. DeFilippis, M.D., M.Sc., is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the interim chief of the the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

He received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2001, and his Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Emory University School of Medicine in 2006.

After completing his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he was recruited to the University of Louisville as faculty in 2011.
