Ally Jane Grossan is the managing editor of the wildly popular 33 1/3 music book series. She will discuss her new book "How to Write About Music: Excerpts from the 33 1/3 Series, Magazines, Books and Blogs with Advice from Industry-leading Writers"

33 1/3 is a series of short books about popular music, focusing on individual albums by artists ranging from James Brown to the Beastie Boys and from Celine Dion to Neutral Milk Hotel. Authors in the series include Geeta Dayal, Jonathan Lethem, Erik Davis, Colin Meloy, Daphne Brooks, and Joe Pernice. Launched in 2003, the series now contains over 80 titles and has been widely acclaimed by fans, musicians and scholars alike.

CCHS welcomes Ms. Grossan to Louisville for the International Association for the Study of Popular Music, US branch Conference and invites you to come asks you to come to Dreamland for a night of stories and questions. She will joined by:
