Film Showcase: Basurero, Film and Human Rights in the Philippines

 The Center for Asian Democracy is proud to co-sponsor a film screening and panel discussion at Speed Cinema related to human rights and the “drug war” in the Philippines. Director Eileen Cabiling joins a panel along with international human rights advocates and local drug rehab providers to discuss human rights, filmmaking and the upcoming Philippine presidential election.
