Bio

Dr. Winters joined University of Louisville faculty in 1999. Previously he was on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh as Assistant Professor (1978-1983), Associate Professor (1984-1993) and Professor of Medicine (1993-1999). He is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Society of Andrology, and was elected to membership in the Central Society for Clinical Research and the American Society for Clinical Investigation. Dr. Winters has been a member of the Food and Drug Administration, Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee, the Veterans Administration Merit Review Subcommittee for Endocrinology, and many NIH study sections. He has served on the Editorial boards of Endocrinology, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, the Journal of Andrology, and the International Journal of Andrology. Dr. Winters is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
