Established in collaboration with the Mayagüez Medical Center, the Ponce School of Medicine, the Ponce Research Institute, and the University of Louisville in Kentucky, the program will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team of experts devoted to outstanding patient care, education, and innovative research.

The PRCPF is expected to become the most comprehensive pulmonary fibrosis program in the island and one of the premier programs in the Americas.

Our program will offer a multidisciplinary approach to care with pulmonologists, cardiologists, rheumatologists, pediatricians, ophthalmologists, radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, geneticists, and other scientists working together to offer patients and their families the best options that current medicine has to offer.

Compassionate care will be offered in conjunction with outstanding educational programs delivered through brochures, internet-based tools, quarterly newsletters, and semi-annual patient support groups.
