Windows Critical Updates

Instructions for checking for updates

Windows 98/2000

  • Click on the Start button
  • Select Windows Update
  • Click on Product Updates
  • Under the heading "Critical Updates and Service Packs" select All
  • Also check under the heading "Recommended Updates" for the Windows Critical Update Notification and install it

Windows 95/NT

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click on Tools - Windows Update
  • Click on Product Updates
  • Under the heading "Critical Updates and Service Packs" select All
  • Also check under the heading "Recommended Updates" for the Windows Critical Update Notification and install it
