To setup guest wireless access, university faculty and staff can sponsor a guest wireless account.

New "client-less" secure access

University of Louisville faculty, staff, and students can now use a new "client-less" secure wireless access. For more information, see the Wireless Configuration Guide for all major platforms.

Odyssey Wireless Client

Users wishing to continue using the Odyssey wireless client can download the newest preconfigured version of Odyssey. Note: This new version of Odyssey is compatible with the Windows XP and Vista operating systems.

Legacy Wireless Access

The University of Louisville will continue to support the existing secure wireless network access (using UofL_Auth) while making the transition to the new secure wireless environment. It is planned that the legacy wireless environment will be removed by 12/31/2008. The legacy guest MAC address authentication will become immediately unnecessary and will be removed by 05/02/2008.
