GroupWise Date Options

Have you ever wondered what the date and time stamp on your GroupWise mail represents?

It can mean several things when it comes to electronic mail. It can represent the date and time the sender created the message or the date and time that the message was received into the recipients mailbox.

When you are looking at your GroupWise mailbox or GroupWise notes using the Quickviewer, the default setting is the date and time that the item was received by your GroupWise mailbox.

The column heading options for showing a date are:

  • Created - represents the date and time that the sender clicked the SEND button.
  • Date - represents the date and time that the item appeared in your mailbox.
  • Delivered - same as Date.

You can add a column that provides the date and time the sender sent the item by customizing your mailbox view.
