Full Disk Encryption

The University of Louisville has shifted from GuardianEdge encryption software to new software provided by Symantec. The existing GuardianEdge software can be upgraded to the new Symantec software without requiring the hard disk to be decrypted.

This software provides the same AES 256-bit protection as GuardianEdge and now offers better performance, reliability, and compatibility with newer hardware.
