Who We Are
About the research computing staff...
The IT research support staff currently consists of three consultants available for support and collaboration with university researchers. Each consultant can provide assistance determining whether existing HPC software can be applied to new research projects. The consultants can provide further expertise in algorithms and numerical methods, parallel programming, debugging, profiling, and optimization. Expertise in data management, data security, database design and query optimization is also available along with more general consultation on storage requirements and data services. Specific research areas of expertise include computational math and physics, computational geometry, first-principles atomic-scale simulation, molecular dynamics simulation, multiscale modeling, and finite element method simulations.
