For your convenience, Information Technology operates the HelpDesk to assist faculty, staff and students with technology issues including—but not limited to—email, wireless connectivity, password resets, resident technology services, and more. Face-to-Face Help - iTech Connect

iTech Connect is an integrated service that offers face-to-face consulting on existing and emerging technologies. You can receive one on one training, use a digital media lab, and have access to online technology documentation. Technology / Computer Centers

The Computing Centers provide computing facilities and walk-in support services to students, faculty, alumni, and staff. In addition, we provide PC (Windows OS) and Macintosh Wireless support (Laptops and Pocket PCs). All Computing Centers have an ADA-compliant station. If the station is in use please let us know how we may assist you. We provide IntelliKey computer keyboards (North and South Computing Centers only), a Kurzweil reader(North and South Computing Centers only), and the Zoom Text Xtra Level 2 software (all Computing Centers).

Training

A variety of software training courses are available for faculty and staff. Courses are available for the beginner, intermediate and expert.

Classroom/Instructional Support


The University has emphasized classroom design that makes use of instructional technology to enhance the learning environment. Instructional Support has been involved in projects that have provided the opportunity to recommend standards for instructional technology equipped classroom design and purchases; additionally, Instructional Support provides technical advice for multi-media/integrated technology systems design and its uses. A Web-based classroom monitoring system has been installed in many classrooms on the Belknap and HSC campuses.
