Request Additional Disk Space
The University provides a variety of accounts for use by faculty, staff, and students.
Standard Allocations
Individuals are allocated disk storage space under a quota system to help control usage. Student GroupWise users are allocated 50MB of storage. Employee GroupWise users are allocated 200MB of storage, but are encouraged to keep their usage under 100MB. Faculty and staff who wish to use the Novell LAN (Home or H: drive) can receive 50MB of storage. Departments can request shared LAN storage (I: drive space).
Additional disk storage is available by request. The standard GroupWise and Home directory allocations are not charged, but additional space over the standard allocations is charged. All departmental shared LAN space (I:drive) is charged. Some allocations will require departmental approval since monthly charges apply.
