Sending Mass Email to Students
If you need to send a mass email to students, please refer to the instructions below.
- All requests must first be approved by the university's Communications and Marketing Department, as per the UofL email policies outlined in the Information Security Office (ISO) policy number IS P007.
- Once approval has been granted, Communication and Marketing will email verification to the Secure Access Management team ( firstname.lastname@example.org). The verification email must include the email address from which you plan to send the mass communication.
- Once the Secure Access Management team receives verification from Communication and Marketing, the email address from which you plan to send a mass email will be registered within the CardMail system as an authorized sender.
- Once you are set up with correct authorization within the CardMail system, the Secure Access Management team will send you an email with instructions for sending a mass communication the CardMail system.
