Heidi Margulis
As a government policy strategist and long-time corporate executive, Heidi Margulis provides technical guidance on corporate, non-profit, and public sector-related strategies and policy to profit, non-profit, government, foundation, and academic entities. Recently retired from her position as chief corporate affairs officer at Humana, Inc., Ms. Margulis led Humana’s strategy development and execution for state and federal government relations, advocacy, public policy initiatives, and strategic alliances across the company’s national footprint for many years. Ms. Margulis serves on the boards of the Humana Foundation, UofL Health, and Evolve502 Scholars Foundation. She is also on the board for Older Adults Technology Services (OATS), a NYC-based organization focused on teaching seniors how to use digital devices and furthering their education, and on the executive committee/board of the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board. Ms. Margulis also chairs the Louisville Metro Board of Health; she was reelected to this position in 2023. A proud University of Louisville alumna, Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree with high honors in International Studies.
