SSA event on Nov 11: “Putting Social Science to Work: Volunteering and Community Engagement with a Purpose”
The Sociology Student Association is hosting its first event of the Fall Semester, “Putting Social Science to Work: Volunteering and Community Engagement with a Purpose” on November 4 at 4 PM in Lutz 132. Panelists include Dr. Melanie Gast and Sociology PhD students, Autumn Martin and LaRee Shontee, who will discuss various forms of volunteering and community engagement, followed by a Q&A. Snacks will be provided!
