Bret Hilt wins 2019 Joseph Henry Award in Translational Bioengineering

iRAP lab graduate Bret Hilt, MEng, was honored with the 2019 Joseph Henry Award in Translational Bioengineering.

Bret Hilt wins Joseph Henry Award (1)

The Joseph Henry Award in Translational Bioengineering is based on Henry’s passion for helping translate others’ ideas into intellectual property (IP). This annual award recognizes an innovative MEng student who has, by the basis of their research and development, potentially created new IP (sole or co-inventor) and has filed an invention disclosure. Bret Hilt was awarded a plaque and will have his name and the year he received this award embossed on the Joseph Henry Award Trophy, prominently displayed in the BE department.

Congratulations to Bret!
