Atlanta Preseason Game and Lost n' Found Youth Service Project
Following the University of Louisville's proud tradition of service, the LGBT Center is organizing a service project in conjunction with the 2015 Chick-Fil-A Preseason Football Game in Atlanta, Georgia September 5. Volunteers will be helping to deliver emergency packs and serving dinner at Lost n Found, a shelter that serves more than 750 homeless LGBT youth in Atlanta. Traveling with the Center by chartered bus, volunteers will also attend the game at the famed Georgia Dome and enjoy a weekend of fun and community-building with Center staff, LGBT Alumni, and other friends!
Cost:
A nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 per traveler helps defray trip costs, including:
- Bus transportation to and from Atlanta
- Ticket to the football game
- Group dinner after the game at Henry's Midtown Tavern (LGBT-friendly)
Not included in the deposit:
- Your hotel room (we are holding a block of rooms at a rate of $139.00/night. To make your reservation follow this link
- Meals other than the dinner at the service project Friday and group dinner Saturday.
- Incidental expenses at the game, etc.

Friday, September 4th
7:00am Charter bus departs Louisville (Center will arrange on-campus parking for weekend)
4:00pm Arrive at Lost-N-Found Youth for service project
8:00pm Check into Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel (This is where the football team and other fans are staying).
Saturday, September 5th
Breakfast and lunch on your own
2:30pm Charter bus departs hotel for the Georgia Dome
3:30pm Chick-Fil-A Preseason Game (UofL vs. Auburn)
7:00pm Board bus for celebration dinner at Henry's Midtown Tavern (LGBT-friendly)
9:00pm Return to hotel, attend Black Pride Events, etc.
Sunday, September 6th
9:00am Charter bus departs Atlanta for Louisville
6:00pm Arrive home!

- RSVP to the LGBT Center and pay your nonrefundable $100 deposit by August 14. Make checks out to the LGBT Center
- Follow this link to the hotel reservation site to book your room. Volunteers are not required to stay at the site hotel, but it will be the hub for bus service, etc.
