You are cordially invited to join us for the 29th Annual Kentucky Spinal Cord and Head Injury Research Trust (KSCHIRT) Symposium. The KSCHIRT meeting is unique in that it features a variety of distinct, short sessions with the specific focus of these sessions often not directly related to spinal cord or head injury, but rather on new concepts at the forefront of molecular and systems biology of development, rehabilitation, and/or disease/injury. We encourage topics that encompass an array of different model systems from flies/worms to humans in an effort to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical research. We strive to not only highlight studies which may help direct or even transition into clinical experiments, but also apply information learned from the clinic to improve our basic science research.
