Coffee Chats
Coffee Chats are informal, hybrid gatherings for UofL employees who who identify as a parent or guardian and want to connect with others who juggle work and parenting. We meet on the second Friday of each month at 2 PM. Check-out our in-person schedule.
Connect Virtually
Please join us on our MS Team -- Parenting Network. The Parenting Network is using several tools in Teams to streamline communication and increase engagement.
| Posts | We encourage you to utilize the General channel in the Team to post a question, announcement, or other discussion item. |
| Notebook | We are using the PLC Notebook tool to share information and resources. Please review and add to the different notebook tabs to share your ideas and expertise. |
| Sub-Channels | We've also created sub-channels for different age groups: Expecting Parentings, Pre-K, Middle School, High School, and Young Adult. Let us know if you have questions or suggestions for other channels that should be added. |
| Tips for Teams | -- When posting, you may want to use “@parenting” so all members are notified and can respond. -- Remember to turn on channel notifications by clicking the 3 dots in top left corner. |

Stay tuned! We are working on our event schedule for 2024-25, which include Learning Cafes on school choice (fall) and college navigation (Spring). We promote connection through in person and virtual opportunities.
