The Autism Group of Cumberland County has been in existence for one year. Typically we meet at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Burkesville at 6 pm on the third Monday of each month. We currently do not offer childcare, but parents bring their children to the meetings.
We try to offer a speaker every few months. On the months without a speaker, our meetings typically are open discussions about topics that interest our parents.
Our group hosts our own walk annually to raise awareness of autism within our community.
Our group is in the process of reorganization. We will begin meeting again in early 2010. At that time, our format may change to a bi-monthly meeting. Please contact for more information about our group.
