The UofL Chapter of the SNDA Chosen as Medium Size Chapter of the Year
At the NDA Centennial Celebration in Washington, DC July 25-28, 2013, the University of Louisville chapter of the SNDA was chosen as the medium size chapter of the year. This award is presented to the chapter that demonstrates achievement in the areas of community service, chapter activity, attendance and member involvement. This is the second consecutive year that this honor was awarded to the ULSD chapter. The chapter also won first place for the scrapbook competition. The scrapbook titled “Drill in the Ville” is a pictorial reference to the community service, impressions program, leadership and membership of the SNDA. Harrison Black was chosen as a student representative to the Corporate Roundtable. Harrison Black also placed 2nd in the research poster competition. On Saturday evening, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry held a joint reception. Food and fellowship was enjoyed by ULSD Dean John Sauk, UKCD-ULSD graduates, students, faculty, family and friends from the NDA and ADEA.
