Terracycle recycling

The Psi Omega Omicron Chapter is encouraging faculty, students and staff to help with recycling efforts to raise funds to support the UofL pediatric dentistry residency program, specifically to help pay for un-reimbursed care for children.

The dental fraternity with nearly 100 student members is participating in one of the free recycling programs offered by Terracycle.

Recycling boxes are located on each floor of the School of Dentistry, and this is where anyone can place items that can't be recycled elsewhere. A few examples include toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste cartons, toothbrush outer packaging, and floss containers.

Student members of the Psi Omega Omicron Chapter mail the items to Terracycle, and receive a donation as a result. These donations also are being matched by Colgate.
