Congratulations to the School of Dentistry's Omicron Chapter of the Psi Omega Fraternity. UofL's chapter has received the National Founders Award for Chapter Excellence for best exemplifying the values of the fraternity as well as exceptional growth and community service activities. The Omicron Chapter rose above 20 other chapters to receive this recognition in 2015. In addition, Omicron was awarded the Regional Award, besting other chapters in the southeastern states. This award brings great credit to the chapter's more than 100 members. By comparison, in 2007, there were no active members and only three faculty alumni.
