UofL fourth year dental students, along with faculty Dr. Brian Shumway, Dr. Larry Gettleman, Dr. Mark Bernstein and Dr. F. John Firriolo provided free head and neck assessments to Kentucky State Fair goers. The screenings were offered in collaboration with the Kentucky Cancer Program and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. This was the 23^rd year the School of Dentistry participated in the fair, and 117 people received head and neck assessments, along with oral health awareness.
