resource on Au4sm Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Mission The mission of the Kentucky Au2sm Training Center (KATC) is to strengthen our state's systems of support for persons affected by au1sm by bridging research to prac1ce and by providing training and resources to families and professionals. KATC is commi7ed to improving the quality of life for those affected by au*sm spectrum disorders. Roles of the KATC � Inform the systems of support for educa2on, early childhood, mental health, and employment � Build regional capacity � Facilitate network � Empower families to access the resources � Develop of documents, videos, and other evidence-�-based informa-on � Develop evidence-�-based models and prac.ces for families, teachers, and schools � Collaborate with the Kentucky Department of Educa9on to develop training and technical assistance for schools and school district KATC beliefs � All people with ASD have value, can contribute and are unique. � All people with ASD and their families deserve access to seamless systems of mul$disciplinar
