I am incredibly grateful for the support I continue to receive from so many at the University of Louisville. A huge thanks to Jasmine Farrier, for believing in my potential every step of the way and always pushing me to my best. To Gary Gregg, for providing a decade of support and friendship. And to Jason Abbott for your constant guidance over the years and for the research opportunity that truly changed my life. To Patricia Condon, thank you for the many drafts you have edited through the years, the applications you helped to refine, and for always cheering me on. And to Bethany Smith, for your advice and assistance in this entire process. I offer each of you my eternal gratitude; I wouldn’t be here without you.
