This one-hour, in-person workshop facilitated by Gerard P. Rabalais, MD, MHA, Professor and Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Center Faculty Development, and Staci Saner, EdD, MEd, Assistant Professor and Director of the HSC Office of Faculty Development, targets clinical faculty who will learn how to use a strategic questioning tool that they can implement immediately with learners. Strategic questioning will help learners develop critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills through higher-level questions that are beyond fact-based recall. These skills are relevant to faculty from any program and for learners across the continuum, so this session will be applicable to a broad range of faculty attendees.
