UofL Pre-Vet Courses
Listed below are the University of Louisville's classes that will fulfill the Pre-Veterinary Course Requirements for Auburn's College of Veterinary Medicine. Generally, students who meet Auburn's Veterinary Requirements will meet or exceed Tuskegee's and most veterinary schools across the country requirements, but students should research individual schools they are interested in to ensure their schedules are tailored to their preferred veterinary college's requirements. Students who have tested out/received AP credit for classes (e.g. Calculus, History) do not need to take these courses again to fulfill the pre-vet requirements, as long as they show up on your college transcript (students should contact the registrar to ensure such credits are listed on their transcript).
*Please bear in mind that in addition to course requirements, colleges of veterinary medicine also have requirements regarding GPA, GRE scores, and hours of clinical animal experience working alongside a veterinarian. Auburn and Tuskegee's additional requirements are listed on the Pre-Veterinary Requirements page.*
