Our Patient Simulation sessions offer an interactive and highly effective approach to learning in which LGBT community members act out patient encounters with participants and offer feedback. Participants will be placed in small groups and given the opportunity to practice taking scenario-based sexual and social histories with volunteer members of the LGBT community.
***You must attend one Patient Simulation Session in order to earn the LGBT Health Certificate. This is the first of two sessions. Credits do not roll over to the next year’s Certificate. All non-students will be charged $30 to attend the Patient Simulation session to cover the costs of the Certificate.
