The reel also contains correspondence and reports of the Boston Merchant's Association, which in 1908 sought to merge with the Boston Chamber of Commerce; news clippings and reference material on Boston's gas company; correspondence seeking Mr. Brandeis' advice on both the regulation and management of insurance companies; and routine correspondence with the Boston City Club, Public Franchise League and the New England Branch of the National Civic Federation.
