Basham v. Commonwealth of Kentucky

Basham v. Commonwealth of Kentucky, 675 S.W.2d 376 (1984)

Kentucky Supreme Court's decision: https://law.justia.com/cases/kentucky/supreme-court/1984/675-s-w-2d-376-1.html

The issue in this case was whether information obtained through a lawful federal wiretap order could be used by Kentucky State Police and prosecutors to obtain a search warrant light of a state statute prohibiting wiretaps. The Court held that since the legislature had not yet specifically excluded use of such evidence, it would not.
