About Us

The Office of Facilities Management and its units provide services that best preserve the physical assets of the University of Louisville. We operate and support the University's units of Environmental Health and Safety, Physical Plant and Planning, Design and Construction so that our campuses are sustainable, attractive, functional and efficient. Facilities Management is responsible for ensuring that the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all of the UofL's facilities and grounds support the academic, research and administrative functions of the institution, while balancing financial and technical constraints with concerns of being a nationally recognized metropolitan university.
