The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) provides regulations on determining significant disproportionality to meet the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Based on these regulations, the Kentucky Department of Education provides guidance to KY school districts identified for having significant disproportionality including how to address this need through Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS). KY-ABRI provides supports to districts as needed to effectively implement CCEIS.
KY-ABRI seeks to follow the most up-to-date research and best practices in education from nationally recognized researchers and organizations. We believe these strategically selected links can help strengthen your school or district’s MTSS implementation.
As part of our service to all Kentucky schools, virtual consultation is available. Please contact us or request a virtual consultation if your district needs assistance.
