SLS Process Information
- Computer model sliced into .004" layers.
- A layer of powder is applied to build area.
- A cross section is then selectively scanned by an infrared laser - melting where the laser hits.
- New layer of powder is applied.
- Process continues, layer by layer, until job is complete.
