The Classes Really Fly By

Registration will begin on Tuesday, October 18th via ULink.

Class schedule information may be viewed by logging in to Ulink, selecting the ‘Manage Classes’ tile, then ‘Class Search and Enroll’, select Fall 2022, click ‘Additional ways to Search’, then select ‘Winter Session’ under ‘Academic Session’, OR go to https://htmlaccess.louisville.edu/classSchedule/setupSearchClassSchedule.cfm.

For either class search option, select Fall 2022 as the term and ‘Winter Session’ as the session.

During Winter Session, the following support services will be available:


  • Library Support

    Ekstrom Libraries will operate on intersession hours between 12/14/21-1/5/22.

    Winter Break December 18 - January 3 Closed

    Spring semester begins Monday, January 10, 2022 – Regular hours resume

    Winter Session students will have access to online databases, journals, research guides and DIY resources designed specifically to support online students.

    Online Library Resources

    • Distance Library Services – Homepage for distance education library resources and support.
    • Subject Guides – The library’s Subject Guides provide links to recommended databases and other research resources grouped by subject area. All library databases are available 24/7 during Winter Session.
    • Research DIY – Research DIY breaks down the research process for students and includes videos, infographics, and step-by-step instructions for searching databases, finding quality sources, writing a research paper, and more.
    • Ask a Librarian – Students can use this form to contact a librarian with reference or other library-related questions during Winter Session. Please allow 24 hours for a response.

    UofL students may also use their student IDs at any of the seven participating Metroversity libraries. To see a list of participating libraries, please visit http://metroversity.org/libraries

  • Technical Support
    • Student Tech support services are available throughout the Winter Session by phone at (502) 852-7997.
    • Helpdesk hours are available every day from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. except on December 25.
    • If you have an urgent request during off hours, call the helpdesk and your call will be transferred to an on-call technician, or you can leave your request on voicemail. Your call will be returned the next day starting at 7 a.m. unless you specify a time.
  • Disability Resource Center

  • Urgent, Crisis, and Emergency Information
    • The University of Louisville Police Department (ULPD) will remain on duty throughout Winter Session.

        • This 24/7 hotline is a resource by a local Louisville agency: Centerstone (formerly Seven Counties Services). Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing can call using KY Relay at 711.
      • The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)
          This 24/7 hotline is a national resource which connects you to a crisis center nearest your location.
    • The Trevor Project: 1-866-488-7386
      • This 24/7 hotline is a resource specifically for youth who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ).
    • Emergency Psychiatry at University of Louisville Hospital: (502) 562-3120
    • In case of imminent danger to self or others, please call 911 or ULPD.

Last Day to Add or Drop - 100% Tuition Credit Dec. 15
Last Day to Drop - 50% Tuition Credit Dec. 16
Last Day to Drop - 25% Tuition Credit Dec. 21
Last Day to Withdraw Dec. 26
Last Day of Classes Jan. 3
Final Exams Jan. 4 (if needed)

*The last day to add is also the last day to delete a course from your record. After that date, a grade of "W" is assigned for all withdrawals.

Courses may be Added/Dropped/Withdrawn via ULink under the Fall 2022 term beginning October 18.
