Doctoral Students
Although there is no official public health practice requirement for the doctoral program at University of Louisville, there are many practice opportunities to gain experience in the community. In addition to this, many of the public health practice links are connected to the PhD students individual research towards their dissertation.

Practice Opportunities
Although primarily designed for MPH students, many of the active practicum partnerships will have openings for doctoral level students during the academic year and summer. Reach out to the existing partnerships below to find out more information.
Examples of Doctoral Student Research Concentrations:

Tasha Golden – a song wirter, entrepenueue and public health researcher gives her a unique web of networks and approaches to public health. She has used her innovation to lead trauma-informed creative writing workshops for incarcerated teen women since 2012.
