CURRICULUM VITAE

 

Dr. Vu is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Health Management and Systems Sciences at the University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences. His primary role is to serve as a PI, a Co-PI, and data analyst on Medicaid-funded research projects (i.e., oral health, diabetes, health economics, cancer).

His works focus on the intersection of dental public health policy, health data analytics, and health outcomes research. His research interests are association between oral health and diabetes, economic evaluation of dental preventive care services, dental insurance benefits for populations with systemic diseases, and oral health disparities.

He has taught and built teaching materials for biomedical foundations, research methods, data mining, data management, and health policy courses for graduate students at University of Louisville.
