Sabrina Collins has received an English-Speaking Union scholarship to the Oxford History, Politics and Society Summer Program.*
The English-Speaking Unionis a non-profit educational service organization. Its summer study abroad scholarships for college juniors and Kentucky teachers are intended to promote the advancement of knowledge in an expanding global community.
“The English-Speaking Union award will make my first trip abroad possible next summer. I am grateful for the opportunity to defer my award and experience the United Kingdom and Oxford’s campus when it is safer to do so."

Charles Leonard, Bethany Smith, and Laura Moyer were all instrumental in helping me achieve this honor. Dr. Moyer has been my research mentor for over two years and has always supported me with advice, letters of recommendation, and encouragement. Dr. Leonard and Dr. Smith have always been supportive in my hopes of going abroad before graduation. I deeply appreciate their confidence in me and their continued dedication to helping me achieve my goals.
