FAQs

How does Follett ACCESS work?

The Follett ACCESS program allows for all the course materials for a class to be included with in tuition and fees. Once you have selected your courses for the upcoming term, the campus store pulls ALL required course materials for those courses that are part of the Follett ACCESS program. (They work with your professors and know everything you need.). You will receive an email from Follett with instructions on how to access your required course material by five days before the start of class.

Will I save money?

Yes! Required course materials are offered at a reduced price through the program and will be billed through your Bursar’s account, making it easier to apply financial aid to the costs of your course materials.

How do I get my course materials?

For courses that are part of the Follett ACCESS program, materials will be gathered for you by the campus store. However, getting required course materials for classes which are not included in this program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Visit https://www.bkstr.com/uoflstore/home and click on textbooks. Search for your books.
  2. Select rental, digital, used or new. (Cut your costs when you rent your textbooks)
  3. Get your books!

Order online or visit us in store where our textbook experts will be happy to assist you in completing your required course materials purchase.

What if I add or drop a course?

If you drop a course by the last day to drop/add identified in our initial email, the fee will be credited back to your account. We cannot offer refunds after the last day to add/drop. If you add a new course that is part of the program, your online access code for required courseware will be emailed to you. If you add a course that is not part of the program, follow the steps above to procure your required items.

If my professor has recommended course materials, will those be included in the program?

Only materials identified by your professor or campus as “required” are included as part of the program. All “recommended” materials will be available for purchase at the campus store and https://www.bkstr.com/uoflstore/home
