POLICY APPLICABILITY
This policy applies to University Administrators, Faculty, and Staff.
POLICY STATEMENT
All firms entering into contracts with the University shall be verified/checked against appropriate governmental exclusion/debarment/suspension lists.
PROCEDURES
Prior to contract award, the Department of Procurement Services shall complete a review of the prospective contractor(s) against appropriate governmental exclusion/debarment/suspension lists. Any firms/vendors who are identified as potential matches will be further investigated for violations prior to contract award. Furthermore, the Department of Procurement Services will not proceed with contract award to any prospective contractor verified as a positive match, without consultation with the Institutional Compliance Office and appropriate University Administration.
