The Healthcare Leadership (HCL) track within the online bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and Learning (BS OLL) allows you to capitalize on your existing knowledge and professional experience, and earn a bachelor’s degree at a pace that fits your needs.
The HCL program allows students to earn college credit for prior learning and work experience through a designated course and assessment, saving them time and money on the way to graduation. This is ideal for experienced individuals who have the professional knowledge, yet lack the proper credentials to qualify for leadership roles and advancements within the healthcare field.

Transfer in 36 general education credits
If life got in the way of your education plans and goals, you can pick up where you left off and finish your degree at UofL. You can transfer in 36 or more credit hours in general education, earned from a community college or other regionally accredited institution. -
Earn up to 48 credit hours – tuition FREE
Through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) course, students create a portfolio which encompasses both occupational training and experiential learning (including civilian experiences). Through the portfolio creation, students aim to earn between 9-48 workplace specialization credits toward the BS OLL. -
Complete 36 credits in Healthcare Leadership at UofL
Upon fulfillment of the general education requirements and successful completion of the PLA course, you’ll be near the finish line for your degree! You can take the remaining 36 credits completely online.
