Vision

Our vision is to cultivate a university environment that celebrates the rich tapestry of human identities and experiences. We envision a campus where LGBTQ+ faculty and staff members can thrive personally and professionally, unencumbered by discrimination or prejudice.

Mission and Purpose Statement

The mission of the LGBTQ+ FSA employee resource group is to provide support, build community, and advocate for LGBTQ+ faculty and staff at the University of Louisville.

The purpose and specific objectives of the LGBTQ+ FSA are to: 

• Promote visibility, foster a community of support, and provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ employees.
• Provide events and networking opportunities.
• Advocate for LGBTQ+ affirming policies at the university.
• Provide LGBTQ+ resources for new and existing employees.
