Crane Writing Competition

Topic: Disability law (employment, government services/programs, public accommodations, education, housing & health care)

Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled law students (J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D.), medical students, and doctoral candidates

Paper's Requirements: No longer than 35 pages in MLA format

Deadline: All entries must be received by midnight, Pacific Standard Time, January 15, 2017

Prizes: 1st receives $1,500 cash prize and the Thomas Jefferson Law Review (TJLR) will consider the paper for publication, 2nd (2) will receive a $1,000 cash prize

International Conference on Law Writing Competition

Topic: New theoretical and/or experimental research within regulations and public policy

Eligibility: 

Paper's Requirements: No more than 10 pages while using double column, single-spaced, 10-pt font

Deadline: Full paper submission is Dec. 30, 2016; Early Bird Registration is March 3, 2017; Late Registration is March 31, 2017

Prizes: Best Student Paper Awards will be conferred at the conference (in order to qualify for the award, the paper must be presented at the conference in Singapore
