TODAY - U.S. Navy JAG Corps Student Program/Information Session on September 14th

This Information Session is open to interested 1L/2L/3L students - Thursday, September 14th at Noon in LL71 Learn about opportunities with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. Opportunities include unpaid summer legal internships in addition to the Student Program which permits law students to commission as Ensigns in the Inactive Naval Reserves while attending law school.

The U.S. Navy JAG Corps will be conducting an Information Session on Thursday, September 14th at Noon in room LL71.

Job Description:  Unpaid 2018 summer legal internship - summer internships are typically full-time for 8-10 weeks at Navy locations throughout the United States and overseas.  (Note:  1L students may not apply to employers until after December 1, 2017 but are welcome to attend information session.)

Job Description: The Navy JAG Corps Student Program (SP) permits law students to commission as Ensigns in the inactive Naval Reserves while attending law school. Upon law school graduation, passage of a bar examination, and the completion of Officer Development School, SP participants serve on active duty for four years. This is our largest recruiting program and the most common way to become a Navy JAG Corps officer.  As a JAG Corps officer you will have an opportunity to practice in several different practice areas and in numerous locations nationally, as well as overseas.
