Sleep Forum: February 22
UofL Health Promotion and Campus Health Services are excited to partner with the University of St. Thomas Center for College Sleep and Bellarmine University to offer a full-day Sleep Forum on Friday, February 22, at the University of Louisville Student Activities Center.
The forum presentation topics will include:
- The Science of Sleep
- Helping Students Sleep: A Clinical Perspective
- Making the Connection Between Sleep and Mental Health
- Retention and Academic Success
- The College Sleep Environmental Scan: a Campus Wide Sleep Strategy
- Sleep Strategies on College and University Campuses
- Questions and Discussion with Sleep Panel
Dr. Roxanne Prichard and Birdie Cunningham of the University of St. Thomas will be joined by local sleep expert Dr. Ryan Wetzler. College-level health educators, counselors, administrators, health practitioners, public health professionals, students, and interested community members/ professionals are encouraged to attend.
University Faculty, Staff, and Community Members/Professionals: $30
Students: $5
Cost includes full-day forum, continental breakfast, and boxed lunch.
