Information about student access to School of Law building

Students requiring access to the School of Law during the COVID-19 emergency may do so by using their active student ID, which can be swiped at the law library entrance.

If your card is inactive, please contact the university Department of Public Safety (DPS) by emailing dpsacces@louisville.edu. In many cases DPS can activate a card remotely.

In addition, during law library hours, a student whose ID is inactive may call the law library front desk and someone will come out to let you in. The front desk phone number is 852-0729. The law library is currently open M-T 8:00 am- 9:00 pm; F 8:00am-6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am- 6:00 pm; and Sun 1:00 pm-9:00 pm.
