The 490 Project recently settled an Open Records Request lawsuit against LMPD.  They produced over 500 documents in no organized fashion. The 490 Project and KYCIR (Public Media Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting) will be sorting and organizing the documents.

The student will work under the direction of others to read, view, and catalogue the provided documents and will help identify newsworthy information and documents related to specific citizen's complaints.

**Discretion Advised** Some, perhaps many, of the documents will contain disturbing information, including video, regarding police misconduct.  The student(s) will need to be vetted and attend a 490 Project meeting, which is held via Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30, and be approved through the organizations horizontal consensus project before they are able to obtain the position.  The 490 Project advocates against, sues, and initiates audits of the police and the FOP.
