Book Adoptions

You can submit your course material orders using one of the following options:

  • Follett Discover  (This online tool provides hassle-free access for instructors to research, discover and adopt course materials.  Instructors must access Follett Discover via their Blackboard homepage).
  • Email: , and include:
  1. Course information (Department, Course #, Section #)
  2. Information about the text (ISBN, title, author, edition, etc.)
  3. Whether the book is recommended or required
  4. Any other pertinent information

You will receive an email to confirm that your adoption was received, and a second email to confirm that it has been entered into our database. 

We request that all adoptions be submitted in a digital format so that communications can be tracked for questions or concerns about adoptions.

Review Copies

Review copies can be requested directly through the publisher by searching the text and requesting a review copy from the individual book listing page on their site, by contacting the designated representative listed below if one of the major academic publishers, or by contacting Kim Sanders (kim.sanders@louisville.edu). Please provide all pertinent information including title, author, edition, and ISBN as well as where you'd like the book shipped.
